INDUCED AFTER DEATH COMMUNICATION
a revolutionary healing therapy for post traumatic stress disorder and grief

MOTIVATION & INTENTION FOR THE FILM

For eight years, Dr. Allan Botkin has been treating patients at a Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Chicago with a new technology that he discovered and trademarked called Induced After Death Communication (IADC)—a treatment he refined while searching for a way to help his patients, primarily Vietnam Vets, who were suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). IADC therapy incorporates eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a widely used and proven method of treating PTSD. IADC is breakthrough therapy that emerged out of EMDR. It’s a technique that induces Rapid Eye Movement (REM) like state in people who are awake. When this state is reached, Dr. Botkin’s patients report seeing and conversing with a deceased loved one or in the case of the Vets, a fellow soldier or enemy killed in battle. As a result of IADC therapy, patients universally feel lighter, as if the weight of all they have felt has been lifted from their shoulders. For many of these patients intense grieving subsides in one or two sessions and the fear of death no longer exists.

The documentary film, AFTER THE WAR is about people who have experienced radical healing from post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and trauma through Dr. Botkin’s revolutionary discovery of IADC therapy. Dr. Botkin and his patients have opened up a new way of thinking about death, based on continuing scientific study and the true life experiences depicted in Dr. Allan Botkin’s new book, Induced After Death Communication:  A New Therapy for Healing Grief & Trauma,

The film will unfold in a variety of ways. The main story will be told through the experiences of Dr. Botkin and his patients.   In addition, interviews with other scientists and psychologists will explore after death communication (ADC) and illustrate the techniques used to authenticate these events like double-blind experiments.

Our film, AFTER THE WAR is a timely counterpart to the entertainment industry’s current obsession with metaphysics, supernatural and paranormal experiences. This is a true story about hope, forgiveness, long-term healing, and sometimes, spiritual transformation. It is our hope the film will increase awareness of EMDR and the revolutionary new therapy for PTSD, Induced After Death Communication (IADC). It is our intention as filmmakers to awaken our country to the great need for this therapy, especially in the wake of our returning military from Iraq. IADC therapy has already healed over 3,000 people and is available for the hundreds of thousands of human beings currently grieving and surviving trauma.

AFTER THE WAR will ask us to tap into the deepest parts of our humanity and will raise awareness for the great need to assist an estimated 435,000 returning soldiers from Iraq suffering from PSTD. It will challenge our intellect and our personal beliefs about metaphysics, science, spirituality, religion, and death.
